Drill Method
First, we have the most effective but also the most aggressive option: turning the screw. This method works for any screw, but it also carries certain risks. You may also damage the surface on which the screw rests during drilling. For this option, you need a steady hand. Use metal drill bits to drill into a screw. The metal bit should be at least the thickness of the screw. Please start at the center of the screw. This helps avoid damaging the material around it.
After drilling the screw, it is possible that your material has also been slightly drilled. To fix this, use putty, pliable wood, or another coating. Be sure to let it dry completely before working on the surface again.

Rubber Band Option
A trick that offers a solution in some cases is a good old rubber band. Cut a piece of rubber band from a large one and place it over the broken screw. Then take a screwdriver or a power screwdriver and press very firmly on the rubber band (and thus on the screw).
It is important to mention that with the rubber band trick, you need to turn slowly. A cordless screwdriver at full speed will not grip the surface. It is thus better to try with a simple screwdriver.

Using a Hammer
For this option, you will need a screwdriver and a hammer. Place the screwdriver firmly against the broken screw, then hit the hammer several times. If this option works, you will see that the screwdriver has been driven into the screw. This will create a sort of new screw head. Continue to apply firm pressure on the screw and turn it to free it from the surface.
Use a heavy-duty screwdriver for this option. If you cannot apply enough force, you can take a pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench. Then turn the screwdriver using the wrench. If the broken screw still protrudes a bit, you can also use the claw of the hammer or pliers.
Additionally, you can use a screw extraction kit. You use the bits with your drill to remove most screws with little effort.
